Parental Responsibility Laws
Under Public Act 94-0130 the Parental Responsibility Law has been amended to allow damages to be recovered up to $20,000.00 rather than the prior limit of $2,500.00.  The only change was the dollar amount, therefore allowing $20,000.00 in damages from each person or legal entity.
